We are in Latvia.

The bikers from the local Harley-Davidson club waited for us at the border and drove with us to an orphanage near Riga. Here we offered two checks of 1000 € each to the kids. Then we took some of them for a short ride on our bikes through the neighborhood.

Later on, there was the usual reception at the Riga city hall. This time it was the mayor of the city and the Luxembourg consul who welcomed us.

Today was our first short stage, and also the first occasion for sightseeing. Riga is an enchanting city with lots of beautiful, well restored old houses. Narrow cobblestone streets lead to inviting squares with restaurants and live bands.

Tomorrow we’ll enter Russia.
