I am in Turkmenabat, some 30 km from the Uzbek border. My situation is as follows: I MUST quit Turkmenistan at latest tomorrow, otherwise I am an illegal situation, will be arresed and deported. So I will go to Ouzbekistan now; the border seems to be open. Apparently the Ouzbekistan-Tajikistan border is closed. So I will not enter Tajikistan, but drive North and try to enter Kazakhstan. Then I will decide how to continue.
