It took me 3 hours to enter Uzbekistan. At least I see some smilig faces again, good change from the unfriendly Turkmen customs officers. Yesterday I visited Bokhara, and now I am in Samarqand, tge city from 1001 nights. Both these former capitals of kingdoms are phantastic, but I cannot post any pictures. My netbook is dead, and I am in a cybercafe.

Here, in the western part of Uzbekistan one cannot notice any impact from the killings in Kyrgyzstan, but it might get different in the next days.

Tomorrow I will try to enter Tajikistan and reach Dushanbe
