After cutting it of for one year, the Chinese government switched internet on again in Xin'Jiang province. So I can post from western China!

"Osh and other cities saw heavy protests against the interim government. Bakiev supporters have occupied several government buildings in Osh, Batken and Jalalabad. Meanwhile, there were demonstrations in Bishkek two days ago to demand the extradition of Bakiev from Belarus. Several car protests occurred throughout the city yesterday, and another large demonstration, this time of supporters of the interim government, has been announced for Sunday.  Were all that not enough, this Monday more protests are planned to commemorate the end of the 40-day period of mourning.

In the meantime local businesses seem to be preparing for the worst. Throughout the city center, shops are barricading their windows.  Just around the corner, the little shopping center Berek has installed iron fences in front of its main windows. Around the entrance, all windows have been bricked up and a new steel gate has also been installed. Everything that looks like gray cement on the picture below was a shining window facade before!"

Bakiyev supporters expelled from government buildings

I’ve talked with my sources in Jalalabad.  One man has been killed and many wounded in clashes with security forces.  The Interim Government has regained control of the government buildings.
