No news, good news !

Everything is fine, we are in good shape, temperatures are back to European levels, and winds are tailwinds. Since two days, our route follows the remaining of The Great Wall, who is not very impressive over here, maybe five meters high only. Our route starts going up as well, from 1400 to 1700 yesterday and from 1700 to 2500 today. Above 2000 meters it was even quite fresh, and we went digging into our suitcases to find warm clothes. The national route was in rather bad condition, wet and slippery, and Charly had the first crash since we left. As he said, smiling: it is only the wallpaper that is scratched, no serious injury.

If we had only one crash so far, there is another impressive record: Nico just had puncture number sixteen.

This morning, when we left Shandan, we could admire Chinese ladies on their morning Tai Chi exercise, and an old man drawing Mao Tse Dong poems on the floor of a public place; so wonderful!

Today we cycled our 2000nd kilometer.
