Yesterday was a great day. I felt so good that I covered 146 km ! I would even have been further, but days are well shorter meantime, it gets dark at 18.30 hrs already.

So I took a room in one of these “Otels” that I love, always full of surprises. This time I got a room with no windows, a first for me! I think that even in the security quarters of a jail, the inmates have some sort of window.

When I sat in a restaurant later on, I noticed that this Kebab had a strange smell, I should have been more careful. But other guests ate some as well, and I was so hungry after this long day, that I even ate 2! Bad idea!

I always pretend that I have a stomach like a trash bin,  but this time, the trash bin revolted and emptied itself by every issue, if you see what I mean. So I spent most of the night kneeling in front of a toilet, which one better should not look at from too close.

This morning I was totally out powered. I took some medication which my friends Pierrot and Lucien, both doctors in Rambrouch, gave me, and hoped things would improve soon. Normally I should have rested one day, but not in this jail, nobody can feel any better in this sort of cell.  So I started packing, and eventually I left my Otel with a two hours delay. But I was so weak, I barely made any progress. It took me 3 hours to cycle 24 km. But I insisted, until the first serious climb. That was beyond my forces. So I decided to stop for today, and a Truck driver took me to the next town. This time I booked a real Otel and fell in my bed for 5 hours of a deep sleep.

When I woke up, nothing had improved. I dressed and went to town to buy me Coke, black chocolate, bananas and dry cookies. Hopefully these will dam my leaking body. This is definitely not a normal “Tourista”, it must be a food intoxication.

Anyway, if I will not feel better, I will have to take a full rest day here.

Guess what is the main industry in this town?
