Everything went right today:

First, I got my passport with the Egyptian Visa (more then 2 weeks waiting) So, I have 3 Visa now: Syria, Jordan and Egypt. I do not have the Lebanese one, and I won't go for it here, not enough time left. Anyway, I can get it at the border (at least that's what I have been told)

Next: All my vaccinations are up to date, including rabies. I love animals, but.... will they love me?? And....with all the weight I am carrying, I won't be fast enough to escape hungry dogs! So, if I should get bitten, I have to go to an hospital immediately to get another anti-rabies injection, and 1 week later yet another one, despite my vaccination here! It will be funny,I guess. My only weapon is my bicycle pump :-)

My bicycle underwent a complete checkup, I fixed a few things, replaced my bottom bracked bearings, and some brake cables, and tied up every screw: Ready

But, while I was fixing everything, I thought I might as well check out the real weight of my bike: So:  The real weight is 19.86 kilos for the bicycle and another 3.89 kilos for my trailer, thus putting the Total weight of my bike without luggage at 23.75 kilos, 3.75 more than in the prospectus!
